A Liverpool dad who says he tin speak to ghosts has opened upward nigh his experiences of contacting the spirit world.

John Allan has been a medium for over 40 years just realised he had the gift of speaking to entities from the other side since he was just eight.

At present in his 60s, he says his 'gift' has sometimes proven to be a 'bloody nightmare'.

He said: "My two sisters used to be scared of a man at the pinnacle of the stairs.

"The first time I saw him I told my mum and I described my grandfather to her.

"I had never met him, he died when my mum was eight-years-old and he was buried in a cemetery in Tunisia.

"My mum had the same gift just she didn't use information technology.

"Everyone is born with this 'souvenir' as they call it, but it isn't sometimes - sometimes information technology is a encarmine nightmare.

"And some people are able to use information technology, some people are non."

John Allan said he has been a medium for over 40 years, a gift he said he realised he had when he was just 8-years-old

John, from Vauxhall, said his clairvoyance ability has never frightened him, yet he said it is "non easy" speaking to spirits.

He added: "They do make your life hell. They test you and that goes on continually.

"There are forceful spirits. I have been dragged out of my bed on two occasions.

"Considering if these people were forceful and calumniating in life, then they are too similar that in decease.

"And so they have to acquire how to change and y'all exercise have to discipline them."

John Allan says he understand there are sceptics regarding what he does every bit a medium but claims the spirits chose him he did not choose the spirits

The dad-of-two and stride-dad-of-three said he didn't choose to be a medium "the spirits chose him".

He added: "When you get something from spirits, y'all don't see it through your eyes or ears information technology comes in from your solar plexus.

"It is similar a build upwards of energy that gets bigger and bigger."

Also as being a medium, John worked every bit a clinical specialist for over xxx years in the NHS, a role he retired from in 2002.

In 1985, John started doing medium readings in churches and would given 'open up circle' readings.

John said: "Over the years I have seen some things.

"As I started my nursing training - I started seeing people walking out of the wards and things like that.

"It was something I just got used to.

I have never visited a psychic or a medium earlier.

I wouldn't say I am a believer of the later life and I also wouldn't say I am a sceptic.

Therefore when I sabbatum down to accept a reading with John Allan (for free, may I add) I was very open minded to what I might hear.

The reading was around 20 minutes - however John said he would usually spend around 45 minutes with a person.

John was fully aware and agreed to his reading with me being being filmed and did state that due to that he would '"leave out more personal information" that may come through.

I was asked to shuffle the cards, selection three out of anywhere in the deck, and identify them face up downwardly on the table.

And then given what the cards were John would tell me what they meant and relate them to my life.

I will admit I wasn't diddled away by this aspect of my reading, even so there were parts which I could relate to.

I did, even so, become more engaged when John began to speak about the spirits he said he was connecting with.

And one name he gave me was that of my grandfather, whose personality he went on to describe quite accurately.

One of my gramps's wishes when he was alive was likewise that I would go into teaching, something John picked upwards on in his reading.

Other aspects of the experience were more ambiguous and there were names that didn't strike a chord with me.

Just John had already expressed this would be the example as he said the names may be linked to people further down in my family unit tree.

I didn't become into the reading with any expectations, and so that I was not disappointed or taken aback.

And following the experience I would say I am still open minded to learning more than near the paranormal.

"With 38 years equally a nurse with that knowledge I exercise take spirits coming through showing me how they where when they had their accidents but I tell them to come back how you were before, not similar that.

"You can go people who accept died in the morning and they come through to me in the afternoon.

"There are others who can take 25/35/45 years to hear from."

John said he understands that there are sceptics regarding what he does but refutes whatsoever suggestion that he looks at social media or does any background checks on a person before a reading.

He said: "It is a weird world to understand.

"And it takes upward a lot of your time."

He continues: "You will find that a lot of mediums take major wellness problems because from what spirits requite you, they take something away as well.

"My son is starting to go through it at present, and he is xiii - he is starting to be spiritually aware.

"I have never been frightened of a spirit.

"It is the living that yous accept to exist frightened of."
